info Event Overview

The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is organizing an open recreational day for children in Khan Younis, with Phoenix Co. serving as the on-the-ground implementing partner. The event aims to restore the joy of Eid Al-Fitr for the most vulnerable children.

The massive 5-dunam venue is being equipped with distributed activity zones, which will include a main stage for Dabke and artistic performances, a dedicated play area, art stations, and buffet kiosks offering cotton candy, ice cream, and pastries.

To ensure a memorable experience, the upcoming event will feature engaging competitions, 2,000 entry gifts, and a special collective canvas where children will stamp their hands as a message of thanks to the organizing committee.
